| Certification, Accreditation, and Information Assurance |
GANTECH helps its customers address the entire life cycle of Information Assurance issues. We focus on improving the overall security posture of our customers through services that improve the privacy, integrity, availability, and survivability of mission critical information and systems. We provide Information Assurance (IA) expertise to our customers’ information technology programs primarily through technical support conducting Certification & Accreditation (C&A), using the DoD Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Process (DIACAP). Using this process, we can achieve uniform quality and a level of consistency throughout the life cycle of Automated Information Systems (AIS). Our staff performs IA Information Technology assessments of proposed and existing systems including:
- Assessment and verification of information systems including trusted systems.
- Identification and assessment of security requirements and deficiencies in applications, systems, local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), and commercial switching, transmission and signaling networks
- Development of risk management guidelines.
