GANTECH Donates to Four Charities in 2008
GANTECH believes in giving to charitable causes that will impact the lives of our staff. Throughout the year, GANTECH employees are able to nominate a child-affiliated, Maryland-based charity for consideration. In 2008, GANTECH donated over $16,000 to the following charities: The Children’s Inn at NIH, the Army Emergency Relief Fund, the Community Service for Autistic Adults and Children, and the Kennedy Krieger Institute.



The Children’s Inn at NIH, Bethesda, Maryland
The Children’s Inn at the National Institute of Health (NIH) operates round-the-clock to keep families close to their children while they are being treated at NIH. The Children's Inn believes families make a big difference in the lives of their sick children. To treat a patient effectively, the healthcare team cares for the family and child as one.

The Army Emergency Relief Fund
The Army Emergency Relief Fund’s (AER) sole mission is to assist soldiers and their dependents with emergency financial assistance in times of need.

The Community Service for Autistic Adults and Children, Montgomery County, Maryland
The Community Service for Autistic Adults and Children (CSAAC) serves autistic adults and children by providing residential and vocational services and helping them succeed in day-to-day activities and become active members of their communities.

The Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore, Maryland
The Kennedy Krieger Institute is committed to helping children and adolescents with brain and spinal cord disorders achieve their fullest potential by gaining the skills and providing the resources that allow them opportunities to participate in family, school, and community activities.

GANTECH Wins TBU TORFP from MDOT as Part of Skyline Network Engineering’s Team
12.23.08 Skyline Network Engeneering, along with GANTECH Inc., as its primary subcontractor, has won the CATS Transportation Business Unit (TBU) task from the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT). MDOT required expertise and labor for Information Technology (IT) systems management and maintenance services directly relating to the TBU specific applications and TBU specific server support. This contract will be for all of the TBU administrations including the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA), Maryland Transportation Authority (MdTA), Maryland Port Administration (MPA), Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), State Highway Administration (SHA), and The Secretary’s Office (TSO).

GANTECH Wins SHA COTS Project
12.17.08 GANTECH Inc., as a prime contractor, has won a Purchase Order Request for Quote (PORFQ) to provide the State Highway Administration (SHA) with Vizioncore vEssentials (vRangerPro, vReplicator, and vFoglight) Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software and maintenance support.

GANTECH wins MSDE School Improvements Websites Support and Maintenance Task Order
12.12.08 GANTECH, Inc., as the prime contractor, has been awarded the School Improvements Websites Support and Maintenance task by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). Two websites will be maintained: School Improvement (MDK12) and Maryland Schools Report Card (Report Card). The GANTECH team will provide project management, technical services, and graphical arts services. GANTECH Wins MD MITS Contract with Accenture Team
12.10.08 Accenture, with GANTECH, Inc., as an MBE subcontractor, has won the Modernized Information Tax Systems (MITS) contract from the Comptroller of Maryland. Under the terms of the award, the contractor will install the Enterprise Revenue Solution, which includes enhanced tax administration processing, receivables management, analytics, and data warehouse capabilities. The new system is expected to significantly increase the state’s collection of tax revenues through enhanced discovery, audit and compliance programs, and improved billing; to streamline current processing for improved service to taxpayers; to provide more efficient processing of refunds; and to provide more taxpayer self-service capabilities via the Internet.

GANTECH Wins Maryland Governor’s Office COTS Project
12.05.08 GANTECH, Inc., as a prime contractor, has won its second Purchase Order Request for Quote (PORFQ) to provide the Maryland Governor’s Office with Lockheed Martin’s Intranet Quorum Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software and maintenance support.

GANTECH Wins MD MVA PCI Compliance Task Order
10.15.08 GANTECH, Inc., along with partner Digital Defense Incorporated (DDI) has won a two year contract to provide the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) with Payment Card Industry (PCI) certification testing for their eCommerce Website located in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This service will allow the MVA to comply with PCI Certification standards to continue processing credit card transactions online.

GANTECH Wins MDOT Email, PDA and Network Fax (EPF) Task Order as Part of Sidus Group’s Team
10.8.08 Sidus Group, along with GANTECH Inc., as its primary subcontractor, has won the CATS Email, PDA and Network Fax (EPF) Managed Services task from the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT). This service will be for all of MDOT’s enterprise wide network, including all Transportation Business Unit (TBU) administrations.

GANTECH wins Novell to Microsoft Migration Task
4.1.08 GANTECH Inc., as a prime contractor, has won a task to perform Novell to Microsoft migration activities for the Governor's ofice of Crime Control & Prevention in Maryland (GOCCP) on behalf of the Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services (DPSCS). This task includes migration activities of Email, File Services and Printer Services for this small agency.

GANTECH Donates $10K to the UM Hospital for Children Breathmobile
12.19.07 Continuing a tradition of supporting local charities, GANTECH, Inc., has donated $10,000 to the University of Maryland’s Hospital for Children Breathmobile. 

ARINC & GANTECH win KIOSK for MVA 
11.8.07. ARINC and GANTECH have been awarded a custom KIOSK and web site system for MVA.  This task is for 1 year of development and deployment, and 2 additional years of maintenance. 
 
GANTECH Wins MSDE MSA/HSA Test Barcode Tracking System 
11.8.07. Sidus Group, along with GANTECH as its primary subcontractor, has been awarded the “BARCODE scanning of secure test documents, database creation and information retrieval from Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).

GANTECH WINS - SHA Disaster Recovery Plan Assessment & Update Project
10.16.07. As a prime contractor, GANTECH will be providing a comprehensive assessment of State Highway Administration’s critical applications and enterprise network.

GANTECH awarded State Wide Master Contract for (COTS) Software 
9.14.07. GANTECH has been awarded a master contract for DBM's Commercial off the Shelf Software (COTS) procurement. This will allow GANTECH to compete for opportunities under a task order proposal process. This process is similar to the CATS master contract vehicle.

GANTECH awarded State Wide Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services Master Contract 
9.14.07. GANTECH has been awarded a master contract for DBM's Hardware and Associated Equipment procurement. This will allow GANTECH to compete for opportunities under a purchase order request for proposal process. This process is similar to the CATS master contract vehicle.

GANTECH awarded new Task Order for MdTA Help Desk Support via CATS Contract 
9.14.07. GANTECH has been awarded 2 of the 9 positions on the new MdTA Help Desk Support Task Order awarded September 5, 2007.

1.30.07 - GANTECH is now a VMware VIP Enterprise Partner. This will allow GANTECH to resell VMware products as well as assist our customers in their virtualization strategic goals.

GANTECH Awarded the EPTES IT Security Certification & Accreditation Task Order 
1.29.07. Under the Small Business Reserve, GANTECH has been awarded the EPTES IT Security Certification & Accreditation Task Order for the State Highway Administration.  GANTECH will lead the project as the prime with subcontractor NIT providing IT security consulting & support and subcontractor The Cirdian Group providing business analysis and technical writing services.

GANTECH Awarded the Siebel CRM Task Order.
1.29.07. Under the Small Business Reserve, GANTECH has been awarded the Siebel CRM Task Order for the Department of Business & Economic Development.  GANTECH will lead the project as the prime, with subcontractor Tier1 Innovation providing the Siebel expertise.

GANTECH WINS Unisys Contract for MVA 
9.20.06. GANTECH and subcontractors Dynamix Corporation and Unisys Corporation have been awarded a contract to support MVA's Unisys Printers and Servers for the MDOT MVA OTTS.  The contract is Small Business Reserve with 30% MBE goal.  GANTECH is the prime.  Contract is valued at approximately $4.3M over three years.

8.15.06 The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration has awarded GANTECH a CATS Task Order to provide the MVA with the expertise and labor for system/facilities management and maintenance services related to computer software and hardware installations, upgrades and Help Desk management.

8.2.06 The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Maryland Port Administration (MPA) Information Services Department (ISD) has awarded GANTECH a CATS Task Order to provide the necessary expertise, labor, and supervision for system/facilities management and maintenance services related to Help Desk Support.

GANTECH Awarded ACS DHR Subcontract
7.31.06 GANTECH has been awarded a 3 year subcontract agreement to provide mainframe application support for the Maryland Department of Human Resources. 

GANTECH Wins MVA Help Desk Task Order 
7.29.06. GANTECH has been awarded MVA's SBR Task Order for providing Help Desk and Support Services.  The contract is valued at over $800K and will employ 3 new staff members over 3 years inluding 1 option year.

GANTECH Wins MPA Help Desk Task Order 
7.22.06. GANTECH has been awarded MPA's Small Business Reserve task order for a single Help Desk Manager.  The contract is valued at approximately $400K over three years.

MDOT OTTS Awards GANTECH Help Desk CATS Task Order
7.20.06 The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), Office of Transportation Technology Services (OTTS) in an effort to continue to provide an IT computing infrastructure management program that is consistent with the State of Maryland best practices and standards. OTTS has awarded GANTECH a CATS Task Order to provide acquire maintenance services for the IBM Components and peripheral components of the OTTS mainframe. GANTECH shall be accountable for maintaining high availability and integrity of the mainframe and peripheral components for the IBM mainframe.

GANTECH Charity Golf Tournament Raises $10K
7.12.06 GANTECH's "Partners in Technology" Charity Golf Tournament on June 12th raises $10,000 to benefit the Children's Cancer Foundation. The event was attended by leading technology products and solution providers and held at Turf Valley Country Club. The proceeds will go entirely to the Pediatric Oncology Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland.

ACS and GANTECH win SHA Web Support Task Order
7.14.06 The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) State Highway Administration (SHA) Office of Information Technology (OIT) has awarded ACS a CATS Task Order to obtain a broad range of technical services in support of the development of Internet and Intranet Web pages and to Internet/Intranet security. GANTECH is a key subcontractor and will help provide guidance concerning Internet and application security; and to provide on-going guidance concerning best practices in implementing newer Internet technology.

ARINC and GANTECH win MTA Homeland Security Surveillance.
7.18.06. ARINC is a prime Tier I contractor.  GANTECH will be teaming with ARINC to provide materials and labor to build the Police Monitoring Facility portion of the project.  This is our first chance to work with this important partner.

ACS Awards GANTECH DLLR ICON Subcontract
4.5.06 ACS has awarded GANTECH a 5 year subcontract to provide data entry services, Security Assessment, Router Refresh Services, Disaster Recovery, and Wide Area Network Circuits over the next 5 years in support of the interstate network system UI-ICON managed by Maryland Department of Labor and Licensing on behalf of the US Department of Labor.

GANTECH Awarded CSC MAIF Subcontract .
2.27.06. GANTECH has been awarded the CSC MAIF Subcontract to provide part time support to Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund (MAIF). 

GANTECH Wins Baltimore WWTP PCS Network Deployment 
2.12.2005. As a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman, GANTECH has been awarded work deploying a new network for the City of Baltimore Patapsco Wastewater Treatment Plan Process Control System.
